Devlin recorded as the guitarist in keyboardist, Phineas Davenport's group on their newly released album "10 Year Guarantee" this past year. Initially started as an ensemble at The New School under the direction of Miles Davis alum Adam Holzman, this group draws heavily from jazz fusion influences such as Miles Davis' electric era, and guitarist John Scofield's bands. Devlin's technical prowess as a guitarist is on full display on this recording, with his extended solos featured on tracks 1,2,3, and 6 of this recording.
Devlin's duo project with collaborator Max Stratyner, "June" was released in May of 2023 and features a mix of both of their compositions. In addition to his singing, compositions, and guitar playing, he also contributed his piano and production skills to the project. This album clearly showcases Devlin's vocal abilities in addition to his assets as a multi instrumentalist. His compositions and lead vocals are featured on tracks 1,4,7,8, and 9 of the record. In addition to his own compositions, he also recorded guitar and background vocals to support Stratyner's compositions.
